Who gets it
Adults of any age. Stress, diabetes, thyroid imbalance and certain medications are frequent contributing factors and are checked as part of the history.
Common questions
Is the consultation private?
Entirely. Appointments can be scheduled at quieter hours on request.
Will I need tests?
Sometimes — blood sugar, thyroid or hormone panels. You will be told why before any referral.
Can my partner attend?
Yes, if you wish. Many patients find joint consultation useful.
